Are you passionate about technology governance, risk management, and driving continuous improvement in IT controls? We’re seeking an experienced IT Controller to join a dynamic and fast-paced Product & Technology function, ensuring compliance with global standards and contributing to a culture of excellence across IT operations, risk, and audit.

The Role:

As IT Controller, you’ll be at the forefront of strengthening and overseeing the IT control environment, ensuring alignment with frameworks such as ITIL, ISO, and other industry standards. You’ll support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams, and help shape the governance strategy for the organisation’s tech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the IT controllership function, driving best practices across governance, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Continuously improve the control framework, supporting policy and process development.

  • Manage governance artefacts to ensure they are accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.

  • Act as the primary liaison for all IT and security audits, coordinating stakeholder engagement and tracking findings to resolution.

  • Oversee key risk initiatives including ITGC and IS risk assessments, RCSA, risk registers, and related governance forums.

  • Ensure controls are embedded into all incident, change, and problem management processes.

  • Coordinate board and committee reporting and ensure timely preparation and delivery of key documentation.

  • Maintain oversight of third-party vendors, ensuring contracts, POs, and invoicing are managed efficiently.

  • Support regulatory readiness, including DORA and other frameworks, staying ahead of industry updates.

  • Deliver structured reporting to senior leadership on risk, compliance, and governance activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in IT governance, controllership, or risk & compliance roles.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, ISO standards, and technology risk frameworks.

  • Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and policy review cycles.

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders.

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements like DORA.

  • Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams and vendor management platforms.

  • Previous exposure to enterprise governance or service delivery environments.

Location: Flexible working model – Dublin-based office with hybrid options available.
